Unique Glass Art by

About me

I have recently started working in glass having previously worked with textiles to create both abstract and traditional pieces, some of which have been exhibited at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexander Place in London and more recently Festival of Quilts at NEC in Birmingham. I received very positive feedback from the judges in both cases. Over the years I have enjoyed using lots of needlecraft and embroidery techniques which I am hoping to combine with glass in future pieces. I am currently investigating spiral chandeliers using wire lace and discs of fused glass. Summer (2012) my Chrysler Tower fused glass panel was exhibited in Exploring Glass & Glass Discovery Exhibition Centre Space in Bristol. I found a medium in fused glass that I felt would enable me to create the sparkle and power this building invokes in people.

I live locally in Herefordshire and all my pieces are individual and hand made. Where possible I use recycled glass.
